bit of a miniscule victory in ability to afford this now with the release of the RTX 2080 range this will be obsolete.................... sheesh! I remember when the Nvidia 4800 (Ultra) was future proof for a fucking long time.

I can\'t afford this stuff One day I can regale you with tales of the future proof Radeon 9700 PRO. What a beautiful card

Blimey! That takes me back, the old Radeon GPU\'s mind you before even Nvidia it was Voodoo graphics which handled the 3D apps and relied on a PCs 2D graphics (assumably this also was a chipset on the motherboard) 3DFX of course later in around Dec 2000ish were acquired by Nvidia. There was a lot of hardware bitd that would last for a long long time.. btw I had sold my iMac to buy some upgrades for my PC otherwise I wouldn\'t have been able to afford all this.

Well I tried to get into some video editing never happened and couldn\'t get into Mac o/s and all that. I paid over 3000 for it back in 2014; got 1500 when I sold it in July this year.
