Hello my friends,
I've been adding some car replacement mods to my game (mafia 1), and for some cars the replacement only shows when you get in the car.
e.g. I replaced a Lassiter Fordor with a modern BMW, but I still see standard Lassiter Fordor's driving around the city, and they only turn into a BMW once I get in the drivers seat... I'm sure this is a common issue but I didn't see any threads on it.
Is there a way to make it so the mod affects the car even when you're not the driver? |

If I remember correctly, this could be fixed by replacing the cars using the Car mod installer tool on page 2 in the downloads section. It had something to do with a simple variable the game had to change before getting into the car or something. (anyone correct me if I'm wrong)
I hope it works. _________________

You are wrong Rob.
All you have to do is to replace car model for AI. Almost every car has one model for player (for example: forAcou00.4ds) and second model (forAcou10.4ds) is for AI.

thanks for the advice guys,
I'll try replace both models for the car I'm changing, and I might give that tool you suggested a try too if thats easier. |
