Hey guys, I have the problem with Mafia.
I'm improving flat models to 3d, for example - wall. Everything is ok, but game have some strange script to extend the walls, hedges etc. to longer (or shorter) than original model. I don't understand how it's working, but while I added my improved model to game (in ZModeler it's perfectly as original, width etc.) that script stop working, and arise empty places between models. Maybe anybody knows, how can I fix it?
In editor it's don't working everytime, so it's shall be something in game, I guess.

For any help I'll be grateful! Smile

Yes, I´ve seen that phenomenon too.
There´s some difference between the scaling of the model in the editor and the model in the game i presume.
Also there are two settings for the scaling in the editor. Both should be equal if possible.
And also it´s important that the Axis of the model is strictly in the middle of the model. Otherwise there can be a gap at one side of the Model when it is scaled.
(at least this is for models created with Zmodeler). The only way to be 100% sure is testing ,testing, testing...

I am going to unlock this Mnich:

This could prove useful to other modders who may
have similar problems and as the solution was given
by Ventilator anyone else we can locate them to this
thread rather than them creating a duplicate one.

Also this is part of the Modding School and not a
general thread or topic on problems with mods. Wink
