Hello there my friends. I am really sorry that I was not updating for a while now, but I had plenty of other work that was needed to be done. But... I am back in business.
So I know its kinda pathetic to post here this picture:
... but I just want to let you know that I am working. Still I choosed different approach in making, that should be quicker, but in the early no ingame without textures might be boring, but it should save me ton of work (I hope).
So again thx for all your support. |

Great to see you back again Rov3r! And don't worry, with this mod especially we are fascinated by every picture we get, so no progress is 'too small' _________________

Pathetic? hell no! Looks great if you ask me.
I like the inconsistencies in the roads. It makes the layout look very realistic when it's not a perfect grid pattern. _________________

I'm not worried about the city as I'm 100% sure it will have a great dark atmosphere. Good to see you again. _________________

So. Here are some screens from models that I am working on. The light grey indicates interiors that will have sectors. Dark gray indicates primary sector models.

Hello everyone. Here is another update. Finally, IŽve managed to get some time to go back to mafia. Phew. Almost forgot how annoyingly hard some parts are. I mean, Mafia World Editor is crashing almost everytime I make a change. But, still I love it.
Here it is.
And finally I am really glad, that I am back to this. Itˇs just pure fun, and I had little of that lately. At least as far as computers goes |

Hello everyone.
I am here with a little bit of news and with a screen of level, that I am creating.
So the news :
- I was thinking about redesigning the gameplay style. So because I want The Rain to be a heavily story and mood driven mod, with great production quality, I decided to remove the sandbox element. It is not final decision and IŽll mostly decide on given ****, but I think, that linear path like in Max Payne should suit my mod more. I definetly won't create mod without loading screens like I wanted, that is just too much.
- I am writing script, so I am "designing" characters, locations and overall everything.
- The demo with story mission should propably take part in prolog. CanŽt really say when I am kinda busy right now.
- And lastly I really do hope that I didnŽt kill my audience, that would be shame. Never the less IŽll try to catch your interest again
And finaly the screen:
- This is location from prolog. WonŽt say anything more. With or without sandbox element, this is (i hope) finaly the place, where it will all start.
Well that is all for now. Have a good day everyone |
