The keys 1 2 3 & 4 toggle between the translation tools I believe. Press one and if you click and hold the object you can move it. Be careful to not accidentally click another object and having that moved instead since the selection tool is still active. _________________

Mr Robville, if I understand correctly, just hold the left mouse button on selected object, amd move it. And where I push 1 2 3 & 4? Because I simply pushed those and nothing happened.
Just push 1 and drag the selected object by mouse? Please tell that to me in detail. (Sorry for bad english.) |

That user interface is a little bit complicated...
Rightclick in the Viewport lets you look around.
Leftclick select objects.
If you want to move an object press Ctrl+3 grab with mouse and move around.
as soon as you rightclick you are in viewmode again.
if you want to move an object you have to press Ctrl+3 again _________________

Depends on the version you're using. In v0.4.0 you switch modes by simply pressing 1, 2, 3 or 4. In anything older than 0.4.0 you need to press CTRL-[1,2,3,4,5].
The current edit mode is shown on the left-hand side in the status bar of the main window.

This was reworked in v0.4.0. In this version the right mouse button toggles between lookmode and the current edit mode. |

Asm, I think I use v0.4.0, because nothing happened when I just press 1 2 3 & 4 keys.
Ventilator, so first, move the camera and select an object, second, press Ctrl-3 and grab that object with mouse, and third, right click for wiewmode? Thanks for this solid (helpful) answer. |

The version is printed to the console (check the first few lines).

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to create static collision data for your object, you can use MWE (check docs\Collision Model Editing.txt for details). If you want to create a physics or door entity, you'll have to use BScriptView or DC||ED for that. |

What do you mean, Asm? I can't do that in Mafia Word Editor, so I need to use BScriptView or DC||ED?? (Please give a tutorial link for this collision data editing.) |

As I said, it depends on what you want to do. For static collision data you can use MWE. Static collision data is typically used for buildings, walls, terrain etc.. On the other hand there're also other types of solid objects like doors and physics entities (like these grey and wooden boxes you see in certain places in the game). Since MWE doesn't support creating/editing entities, you have to use DC||ED or BScriptView for that.

There're some video tutorials for creating static collision data with MWE on YouTube, like this one by MarrtyLP (who I think is a member here). I also remember there being a written tutorial where some guy showed how to create static collision data for that house next to the lighthouse in Oakwood/Oak Hill, but I'm unable to find it. |
