Sucks that you had to decommission your old rig. I assume the GTX760's still functional (especially as a backup card), yes?

Not really tbh, the PC is way out of date no one
uses DDR2 well definitely not for gaming. I may
see if someone might be able to use components
that are working for parts.

The only thing I might do depending on its condition
is take the sound-card out and install it in the new PC;
it definitely would work better with my 5.1 surround
speakers.

Finding a DDR2 stick can be a pain in the arse I agree, plus getting a new rig is more worth the trouble anyway compared to flogging an already dead horse.

Hey there, that's a nice setup you're getting Thumbs up (left) One thing I would advise is to get a bigger SSD though. Assuming you will use the rig for lots of gaming, you will probably want to install the majority of you games on the SSD and 120GB is usually just not enough these days when a single game can be 60GB+ in size. Yeah it's not cheap fun, but chances are that a bigger SSD will be the first thing in your list of "to-do" upgrades for the new PC. 500GB versions have actually reached a pretty good "price vs storage capacity" point so I personally would opt for one of those.

Getting a bigger SSD is way out of my budget atm
running one game at a time is fine by me and as
currently it is FO4 (25GB) that would be no problem

However having looked at the components for the
Chillblast PC I have changed the 2TB HD to a 1TB
SSHD Hybrid drive, I don't need a 2TB internal drive I have
two Seagate My Passport desktop drives for files
mp3 and movies.

Had to order a new monitor because
the iiyama prolite gaming monitor
developed a fault

So ordered this AOC Q2778Vqe 27" 2560x1440 1ms response time

only paid 40.79 as credit note for the
iiyama was added towards the cost of
the replacement.

Always on the hunt for bargains but
don't always find 'em - anyway I was
in need of a new foil and cutter for
my Braun 340s-4 Shaver but couldn't
find one.

The other day I was in Sainsbury's Sydenham
just for some shopping when I thought I wonder
if they have the cutter/foil cartridge I needed;
looked in the section for electric shavers and noticed
this...

Yep! a Braun Series 3 Electric Shaver with Clean and Charge
reduced from 159.99 to just 47.00 definitely one of those
times when a bargain hits you in the face when you least expect
it.

I had to buy a new PSU, my old one was obviously not putting out the 750W it was stickered at. Fallout 4 and Ryse son of Rom were constantly causing the PC to restart when running on ULTRA and the GPU over clocked. This new one fixed all my problems.

1982 -My First programmable computer (not including the Stanford University Mainframe I got to play with in High School) You hooked it to your tv and the dataset took for ever to load and save and often failed, but for me it was gold!
