Nice, I have a 660, yours is slightly better, they are very good cards.

I bought this recently as my old PSU decided to not turn on one day.

I love the look of EVGA cards, they look tidy, did you move that cable hanging over the fan? Sticking out tongue

After 5 years I finally got round to Rebuilding my PC. So I've bought a new case and parts.

CPU: AMD Bulldozer 6 core 4.1Ghz turbo
RAM: 8GB's at 1600Mhz (Holy crap this stuff is fast)
GPU: Still my old ASUS GTX 280 but it still runs everything at max, ASUS Nvidia cards always seem to last a lot longer than any other performance wise.

Case is a Corsair.

Splashed out a little last night and purchased a gaming PC that could run NASA (and more importantly Mafia), a cinema surround sound stereo system and an HD monitor, all to enjoy the game's wonderful sights and sounds all around my room.

It's a shame no-one has worked out how to break Mafia's 60fps cap really..

- 4.0GHz Six Core
- 2GB AMD Radeon R9 270
- 500w PSU
- 2TB HDD
- 16GB RAM
- 1080p 22" screen
- 5.1 Surround Sound

Very nice rig you got there Asa. Thumbs up (left)

Yeah the problem with Mafia is that it doesn't
matter how good a PC you have it still only runs
at that stubborn 60 fps. Not sure if there is anyway
to use a hex editor - and another thing is the frame
rate determined in the game.exe?

Other games should whizz through I trust. Smile

In my case, it's these:

A pre-Mattel Molly doll and a Logitech G310. Didn't realise that the latter came with no force-feedback support whatsoever, but at least it's a hybrid Xinput/DirectInput controller, so that's not much of a drag.

My current setup:

I used to have a UPS hooked up as well, but it caused shortage recently in my house. Thinking
I nowadays also pay a lot of attention to ergonomics to reduce strained muscles. How gimmicky they may be, this chair I'm using sits amazing and is a perfect alternative to the over 9000 costing "ergonomic" office chairs that don't even have a headrest. This one I can even fold 180 degrees backwards to lie down in. Combined with a padded mousepad and footrest I can spend hours behind the PC without any issues.

Btw, that is a sick looking machine Asa Very happy

I prefer a more spartan setup myself, but yeah, makeshift chairs or something that isn't actually fit for a computer/office setting would be a literal pain in the rear.

And I assume you have a Social Club account, Rob. Wink

Sucks that you had to decommission your old rig. I assume the GTX760's still functional (especially as a backup card), yes?
