You don't need to worry about licensing music. Why? Because mod is freeware and its not susposed to earn money... And also, if you want to have mod "legal", you should, at first have permission to edit Mafia from 2K ( Laughing ), you should have licenses for real cars (min. Škoda, Lada and Fiat) and also for real brands... All of that is near impossible, so every Mafia mod is illegal itself... Music license is not a big deal then Laughing

Believe it or not, some companies still fetch a DMCA notice if they find out. Even on freeware or media that falls under "Fair Use" policy. But yeah, they need to find out first. Wink
Luckily mods do not have a content ID filter when uploaded so they don't get a notification like on Youtube so there is a 0.0001% chance they ever find out or take the effort to make a case of it. But still, better to be safe than sorry right?

It does what a real Freeride mod should do. It gives the player fun and chance to do much more activities than in original, unmodded FR. The image of Budapest in socialist times is perfectly mapped in your Ikarus mod by showing it's architecture (e.g. turning Giuliano Bridge into Elisabeth Bridge or Budapest Castle Hill Funicular), traffic, etc. Thumbs up (left)
The amount of work that you had put was enormous and it's noticeable in every part of the city and countryside. In my opinion, it makes the latest version the best era changing mod ever made for Mafia. Congratulations for the whole team!
Btw. There are five secret places. Am I right Neutral? But I can't figure out what's so special about the one in Little Italy. Thinking

I have one question: It's works well on 1.2? Beause game crash when I go to the market, and I'll try to spawn at Motel in Coutryside. Besides, I did Polish language for this modification for the Polish mafia players Wink

My Mafia v1.2 works correctly with installed Ikarus mod 3.0. At the beginning the game lags for a few seconds, but from then it goes back to normal.
Maybe running Mafia in a compability mode or as a administrator in your case would do the trick?

Have you tried going off in the direction of the bridge? Or did you even get in? Have you seen that cigarette box on the ground?

I know that every secret place is marked on the map by a black point and indicated by a cigarette box on the ground nearby it.
When I wrote about that place in Little Italy I meant some kind of invisible stairs in front of a brown block of flats on the street to south from Salieri's bar. After climbing a few steps up, Tommy can't go higher anymore. The place is marked by a bright spot on the map.

I find myself dealing with sudden crashes (that can happen anywhere and at anytime!), and i downloaded the Task Assign from the link quoted, but there's another problem: When I want to start the TaskAssign, an error message appears, and it says "the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" I tried in admin mode too, but the same problem, with a slightly different error message: "Windows can't find TaskAssign.exe Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again". I tried running in compatibility mode, and the game crashes too, but after a longer time than without the compatibility mode
Also, I have another issue with the IKMod: It doesn't remember the control settings, so each time when I open the game, it resets to the default ones. For example, the car horn default keys are K and O. I want to set the T key as the horn command.
A question: I recall that you cut out the missions from the modded game (missions given by Salieri and his lads). However, they can still be accesed. This ain't necessary a complaint about the game!
Another question: is there any way that I can change the language? I'm having a rough time trying to understand hungarian, and missions and the control settings are impossible to understand. For example, which command do I have to use to open/close the train doors (the green carriage at the countryside, that youndrive for money)

I am assuming that your version of Mafia CoLH is either 1.2 or 1.3
The control settings even in the normal game do revert back to the
defaults even without any mods being installed including IKM3. I know
this because I always use to set the targeting or sniper to right mouse
button; this worked in the original unpatched version - However once the
game was patched every time I started a new game I had to keep
changing the settings. I may be wrong but I don't think IKM3 changes
any of the settings of the game albeit the controls i.e. movement keys
driving and other settings - either Pinkshit or Neutral can fill you in about
the mod itself.

The main control settings (action button, moving on foot/by car, the car horn, firing guns, ducking and so on) didn't modify in the original game, but the sniper mode had to be set every time (i used the M key), even in the original game. Here, in IKMod, I have to set back certain commands (car horn, look left, look right, and that command when Tommy throws himself out of the moving car, which is something new in this mod)
I think my version is 1.2, but i'll check in a couple of hours to see if I am right, and also if the modded game "remembered" the settings. They reverted after each crash.

hopefully this will help in finding what version of Mafia you
have installed ever wanted to know which version?

Well after a very very long time I installed Mafia (Steam version)
again, and added Ikarus Mod 3.0 and yeah for me it crashes
after about 2 minutes. Will have to check if Steam automatically
updates it to v1.3 but then again I never liked the Steam version
much preferred the original CD-Rom version tbth.

Is there any chance of a forthcoming patch for IKM3 please
Neutral and Pinkshit? Praying

ro_gamer if you want english language you have to rename the "tables_english" map from the downloaded archive into "tables".

I only have tested the mod for a view minutes yet and drove the wagon in the Countryside. This is a very nice feature finally we are able to drive railroad vehicles. But I am still wondering... Is it not possible to drive the standard tram and subway from Mafia? On youtube it looks like someone has created a mod for this but unfortunately it seems that it won`t be released.

I've already run this game as administrator, and it isn't work Crying

Yeah, it will be relase, I've just have to test this translate, but I can't do this, because game crash when I try to test mission at market (with motorboat) and other things Cautious
