In development: scene lighting

I'm little afraid about performance because if I loop in shader for computing more lights (2, 3, 4, ... more) while drawing more complex objects (cars, etc ...) then framerate significantly falls. Confused

Wonderful work!

Boz created a whole new world for major mafia modders. Wink This editor is a "must use" for Ikarus mod. Unfortunately I have a little itsy bitsy question for the developer or the forumers who had ever runs this editor.

Today I have downloaded v0.0.2013.919 version of Sandbox but it isn't work. I use Windows Xp and I've made the permissions for the folder and the .exe file both. But after that I've got this error message:

Error reading il16file->Bitmap:Failed to read ImageList data from stream

Idea? Sad

Otherwise this version can edit check.bin?Boz's know my plan I have to edit some waypoints!(pedestrian,tram,subway etc...)

Anyway thanks for this beautiful editor. If this work I'll try to forget the other ones.

These pictures are making me really excited, the city looks virtually like it does in-game in the first two minus lightmaps in the second and the last two really spark the imagination - can't wait for points editing!

Is there a possibility to bake lightmaps into external software, and then import them into the editor?
This way I can let C4D do the intensive baking with realistic effects without crashing. Sticking out tongue
(I mean baking just the lightmap alone without the diffuse shader combined. I.E. Tilable textures etc.)

This is awesome work. It is amazing how the game
has been modded, but this will mean a whole new
concept which will enable better models and better
graphics as well... yeah I know rather naive but there
seems to be a bug in this topic so hopefully this will

Some "importer" wouldn't be a problem but only bitmap lightmap doesn't enough. You need to know also some mapping information for vertices onto lightmap.

And about overall develop status:
I'm now reimplementing my "engine" into shared *.dll library and now is my priority bachelor thesis about lightmapping. So please be patient for next version of Sandbox Wink
