Time to brush away some cobwebs (yeah I know double post) but
time's dragging on since.

Anyway sort of dabbling with Metro 2033/Redux/Last Light. PGA
Tour 06.. still have yet to complete Prototype 2, Batman AC-GOTY
CoD-AW and Far Cry 4.

I recently made a new Steam account, and picked up a few games during last Holiday Sale. 9 games for 11 Euros to be exact lol.

Right now I'm trying to complete a fun little game called DLC Quest, a Mario-ish bright coloured platformer, including a lot of satire mocking the game industry as a whole. It has 2 campaigns which are quite short, but getting that last speedrun is very tricky.

I'm mostly into Indie games nowadays, partially because I don't have the money to upgrade my PC, but I like the brutal challenge they provide, and they often put AAA titles to shame in terms of quality and innovation.

Just finished Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2. I have never seen games contain as much humour as this franchise Laughing

I played through Black Mesa: Source (basically Half Life 1 in the source engine), and then I proceeded with HL2, HL2: Ep 1, and finishing off with HL2 Ep 2. I've done this many times but great games never really get old. Smile

At the moment I'm playing through Colin McRae: Dirt 2 and after that it will be Dirt 3.

Assetto Corsa also gets some attention, along with Next car game.

Dirt 3 is a bit shit thanks to the americanized (no offense) gymkhana crap, but ignoring it will give you a brilliant arcade rally game.

Dirt 2 is great fun through and through, however:

I bought Cities Skylines this week and man I love it.

This is exactly what Sim City 5 was supposed to be and gives me the same joy I had playing Sim City 3000. Cities XL was nice for a while but the performance was bad and I had an occasional crash in which I lost half of my city.

Not to mention the incredible vast amount of (already) available mods to make the game even better. Very happy

Colossal Order (the developers) definitely knew what they were doing and it's even more impressive considering it's all made in Unity 3D with a very small team that I believe exists out of 11 or 12 members if I'm correct.

I tend to switch between games as and when I
feel like doing so. The games I do play often are

PGA Tour 06
This has always been a fill-in for me and still
one of my favourite golf sims

Fallout New Vegas
Never realized how so much more there is
to do especially the DLC's included.

Driver San Francisco
Interesting game, although the lack of
being able to get out of the car (apart from
shifting) and walk still baffles me.

GTA V
Graphics are good, main story hmm OK.
But! the lack of places to enter and the constant
driving and waiting for clearance to switch characters
especially after the jewel heist - the game can get
tedious and boring. Also there is no challenge to open
up new areas as the map is all unlocked -Yet I still play.

Fallout 3
Still my favourite (atm until Fallout 4 arrives) of the fallout
series. So many places and the story is still good.

Well these are the main games I am playing

Lords of the Realm II

Vaguely Crown of the North like. Battle mode bears a strong resemblance to that of Caesar III (and probably II) by the same developer, but cruder. Units like to get stuck on things, but somehow it's still fun. I didn't understand this game when I bought it :P

Freecell

Card untangling game

Spider solitaire

Card untangling game

Golf

Card ordering game

My main game is Counter Strike: Global Offensive but I also play co-op Dead Island with some friends if we've all had a long day Wink

Been playing Witcher 3, you must play this if you are into RPGs. This game is close to perfect in many ways.

Just laid my hands on The Tales from the Borderlands. Telltale Games seem to have managed to incorporate the same sense of humour which can be found in the earlier parts of the franchise Laughing
