How to embed Youtube videos

until I hear that this no longer applies, we are back to the original embedding
of youtube videos before the code that Geran submitted for phpBB 3

to embed [video width=size height=size]URL linky[/video]

do not use the *.be URL for youtube and remember to remove
watch? and the = and replace = with a forward /

so https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMxcOdsq_s0

becomes https://www.youtube.com/v/VMxcOdsq_s0

when used within the code above you get

I used a width of 690 and a height of 450 which is good for wide-screen monitors, but bear in mind that 1920(w) and 1080(h) is definitely out... .


...all I have to do now is work out how to get the watch in fullscreen to work.
