Breakable glass

Hi, i will show you how to maike breakable glass

1) Open Zmodeler and create flat surface



2) Set texture



3) Texture/Allocate UV



4) Export example.4ds

5) Export same model as example_c1.4ds

6) Now open Boz 4ds Full Manager and open example.4ds

7) Add effect/Alpha texture



Click on Object and add parameter ;X1G;



9) Save

10) Do the same with example_c1 and done

11) Open MWE and insert object example.i3d



12) Hold Y and select object and make colision XTOBB (41 Crash collision)

Thanks Tondmi. Excuse my total ignorance, I just began documenting on modding Mafia and just joined MafiaScene a few weeks ago. I did the steps you wrote but for some reason when I create a model of example.i3d into MWE, it doesn't load the texture. It's red. Is there something I missed? I'll continue to read documents on these tools, but if you experienced this before, you'd save me a ton of time. Thanks a lot!

Ignore that, I found my bug. I only tested this in MWE, not in the game. The game works fine and breaks the glass. The only thing I want to do now is to apply the texture on both sides.

Why reinvent the wheel? It was figured out how to make glass breakable like in original missions 3 years ago.
