Hi all, this is something I've noticed repeatedly over the years - when exported to 4DS, models with multiple 'objects'/components sometimes fragment so that some of these components (e.g. stairs or doors) end up in a different place/with a different rotation in relation to the other parts of the model.
This seems to happen with files exported from both 3DS Max and Zmodeler. Does anyone know why? _________________

Check the pivot position, except doors (probably you will need the pivot located where the hinges are) I always move the pivot to the same place for all objects, usually 0,0,0. Or in max try to reset Xform first. If doors are interactive I would add them as a separated 4ds model. |
