There's some decent mods floating around that I thought were worth sharing, feel free to share any others you find or any that you think add to a better game experience!

Scripthook - https://db.nomad-group.net/page/MDE_ScriptHook:_Instructions
Required for some mods and allows mucking around with the game engine.

Free Ride Deluxe - https://www.nexusmods.com/mafiadefinitiveedition/mods/51?tab=description
Allows access to a lot of building interiors from the campaign. Requires scripthook.

Carry more weapons & free-aim from vehicles - https://www.nexusmods.com/mafiadefinitiveedition/mods/53
Carry up to 5 pistols and 2 longer weapons.

Project Realism - https://www.nexusmods.com/mafiadefinitiveedition/mods/5?tab=description
Increases weapon damage and removes some cheese tactics (like peeking corners).

ScriptHook just won't work. When I install it, the game becomes unable to start until I restore the original dinput8.dll file.
Something needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Always dreamed of a mod like that for the original game, but great that there is one for the Definitive Edition now Very happy

@CapaCity What method this mod uses? ScriptHook or something else? How you got it to work for you? Thinking
(I want a working method for install mods.)

I've installed ScriptHook anyway to make some different mods run. So i think you need ScriptHook for the Tram Drivin Mod to work Wink

The problem with ScriptHook is that you have to replace
dinput8.dll (which is included) which
enables the game to run with ScriptHook - However
this causes the game to be unresponsive. I did post
a comment about this on Nexus Mods, but have not got
a reply as yet.

Until they come up with a mod toolkit that will
enable modders to create mods that do not
require ScriptHook, we're stuck.

What's the reason for the dinput8.dll to work in my case, but not in your's?
