Some one messaged me and asked if I found my old Alcatraz Pics. I haven't but I still have Alcatraz. So after more than a year I put my feet on Lost Heaven pavement, and took a trip to Alcatraz (exterior shots interior as yet unfinished, though I might soon...maybe....)
Not meant to be an exact duplicate, just to be evocative of the Rock

To be honest I am NOT a model maker. Nothing here is a created model I use zmodler to change textures and scale of and join together existing models
For instance the guard towers on Alcatraz are just a re-textured resized versions of the Street Kiosk
I find there is nothing I cannot make by assembling any number of re-purposed existing models. I call this my "cheeseburger" modding technique.....just take things and slap them together, "I'll have one with everything"

love the way you recreate/retexture models from the game. What other large models have you made that you can share? love to see more. Ps any tutorials on how to do what you do? |
