Are there any budding musicians here
on Mafia Scene? Do you play any
musical instruments, be it piano, guitar,
banjo (you might), woodwind or
whatever - even a violin.
I play guitar myself, totally self taught.
I do not use chord books neither can
I read music; play totally by ear although
using my fingers works better usually.
I also write my own songs mostly worship
and praise as I am a Christian.
Anyway this is a sort of jazzy (Latin Jazz type)
tune I am working on at present.
please ignore the rather twisted mouth, still waiting
for me new teesh (teeth)

Muggy, that's really great! How long have you been playing?
I'm a guitar player myself. Of all the instrumens I've played, the guitar is number one for me |

I first picked up a guitar that one of my fellow
students at secondary school brought into class
when I was about 15/16. I was taught two chords
D-Maj and G-Maj. I happily played them and annoyed
everyone.
I learnt by watching people play, I then did mostly
by trial and error, so altogether I have been playing
around 39 - 40 years. I have a rather unorthodox
approach to how I play as I do not play by the book
so to speak. _________________

Whoah, I'm not sure if you even know yourself how good this is, Muggy This tune, its flow - it feels so natural and true. Love it! |

Thanks guys
Was playing around again today and recorded another
version and apart from editing out the enormous sneeze
I did at the end this is raw and unrehearsed made up
as I go along.

You have a talent for this
What I love so much about the song is that it has a lot of tiny pieces of melody in between chords which
spice up the whole song and the overall result gives one a very decent impression of both your playing and songwriting skills.
Thanks for sharing, Muggy, had a great time listening! |

How did this one slip by, man.. Major bump ahead.
Well I play drums first, and guitar/bass second. The plan is to play in a band pretty soon, I need one to bounce ideas off with. I try to frequently release original music, my mentality is the more you try the better it gets, so put out a lot of stuff, that some of it will eventually stick. |
