Well the game we have waited years for has certainly divided opinions if our Mafia 2 Forums are any guide. Our forums have been abuzz with talk of plot turns, DLC robbing us of a complete game and of course, modding. Over the years Mafiascene has been home to some of the greatest mods created for Mafia, we are hoping to be home to the best Mafia 2 mods in time. Already people have tinkered with the games files and have provided us with a “freeride” mod and several trainers to help you out – All of these are available for free in our downloads section. One of the more exciting mods which is already getting talked about is a multiplayer mod, the much rumoured and desired multiplayer mod for Mafia never eventuated, hopefully there is better luck with this one. You can read about it on our forums.
There is talk on the 2K forums that the first post-release DLC for mafia 2, Jimmy’s Vendetta will be available On August 31, 2010. The DLC will provide gamers with a more arcade style of fun, hopefully it is worth the extra pennies that 2K are squeezing out of us.

edit: IGN are reporting that the release of Jimmy’s Vendetta has been confirmed for September 7th.

Well said , there’s many options divided but a lot of is talking and with great expectative about the mod’s planned for Mafia II which will extend a lot the player gameplay.
What Mafia 2 lacked: Freeride, Real Estate Market. Otherwise, a great storymode, i loved it. Playing it was like taking part of an exciting movie, i wish it lasted longer than a day!
Still, with the storymode done, what do i do now? As the game didnt really have an endning, i can’t go on playing since i can’t save my progress. What the fuck, 2K. The result of rushing.
